Due to a private event on the second Saturday of September, there will be no open house day for this month. We apologize for any inconvenience, but encourage everyone to attend our Art and Floral Inspirations event on September 27th, or to arrange a private tour of Battersea.

📅 Mark your calendar! On Saturday, September 27th, there will be a special event at Historic Battersea featuring plein air artists on the grounds painting different views of the Villa and flower arrangers inside the Villa creating floral arrangements based on paintings in the Battersea collection.

🎨 The plein air artists will be at work throughout the day, and you’ll be able to see their brush strokes up close and personal, with some of the paintings going for sale as artists finish.

💐 Inside the Villa there will be two floral presentations, one at 11 AM and one at 1 PM. At those times the arrangers will explain step-by-step how they have interpreted a painting with their selection and arrangement of flowers. In addition there will be fall floral arrangements throughout the Villa.

⭐ All of this is FREE to the public, and it will be happening at Historic Battersea on Saturday, September 27th , from 10 AM to 5 PM. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and folding chairs and enjoy spending time on the beautiful grounds of Historic Battersea
